PolyArk is a project that has been put together by the 3rd year students at the University of Lincoln.

Our project is about exploring the work of Cedric Price and the spaces in and around Lincoln's Railways. It is a conceptual project that has been collaborated with other Universities as Price envisaged in his 'Greater Network of Learning' for achieving cohesion across schools of Architecture.
During the first 3 weeks of the Autumn term, students and staff carried out basic research and prepared briefing material on their chosen 'home' site in preparation for the visiting students who will be doing the creative design work.

There are 4 objectives in this project:

1. To learn and create Architecture in Urban areas, which need regeneration

2. To open the debate about regeneration of Britain's forgotten tracts of land and railways

3. To bring UK schools of architecture closer together in using a creative project as the catalyst

4. To remember the work of Cedric Price, founder of the PolyArk concept, who would have loved this project.
