Nature Reclaiming the Railway

Zonal studies were carried out on a section of track that had been naturally reclaimed. Looking deeply into the understanding of how once a powerful network connecting towns and people through engineering can be reclaimed by nature.
Here are a collection of photographs and sketches showing the results of our findings.

Decoding information

Studies were carried out on the old lines that use to run through Lincoln, recording left over traces and identifiable elements of the old lines. A focused study was carried out on an old bridge, investigating how elements of the structure responded to the change in identity. Treating the decay, fracturing and materialistic response as information and going on to begin to record and decode it.
